Thank you again to everyone that came out to our Inaugural Fall Blood Drive on Wednesday, November 15th, we are looking forward to making it an annual event in November! 


We are excited to join our Chamber members, ORCA Public Safety Department, Russell Post Sotheby's International Realty, and The Academy at Ocean Reef to collect toys for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys For Tots Program. Please drop off an unwrapped toy to our office now through December 15th or bring your unwrapped toy to our December 6th luncheon. All of the toys collected will be distributed to children in the Florida Keys.

We had over 40 people come out and were able to collect 32 pints of blood. We are looking forward to making it an annual event. Please save the date for our 2nd Annual Blood Drive which will be held on November 14, 2018!

"Thanks for sharing the opportunity to volunteer with the Baptist Health Community outreach... It  was a Joy for me to be able to travel down to Big Pine with a great group of people instead of just going on my own... Funny Story-the bus broke down at the end of the 7-mile bridge but we still did not miss a beat... Fortunately for us, there were individuals traveling behind the bus that were also destined to the vineyard community center in Big Pine to volunteer.  We ended up piling into their vehicles and hitched a ride for the rest of a way... Coincidence? I don't think so.  It just set the tone for the spirit of the day.  It was challenging and the same time,  a most rewarding experience... I was humbled by how strangers came together as one in selfless acts of compassion. That's the paradox of all of these tragedies. I have met dozens but there have been thousands of people (unsung heroes) that have traveled from all over the country to support the Keys recovery efforts... Kudos to Maria Luisa Gonzalez, Rene, Margaret,  and all the volunteers from  Baptist Health South Florida that came down. They made a difference! Here are some pictures that captured the day..."
